CeBIT 2006
CeBIT is the world's biggest and most important computer expo. It is held on the fairground in Hanover, Germany each spring and is a barometer of information technology. With an exhibition area of roughly 450,000 m² (about 5 million square feet) and 700,000 visitors, it is larger than COMDEX.
This year's CeBIT unveil Microsoft's "Origami" project in which UMPC (Ultra-Mobile Personal Computer) will be released by South Korea's Samsung and Taiwan's Asus around April.
Malaysia's Intranet Sdn. Bhd. will be selling a software called SmarThumb for USB memory stick or multimedia card (MMC) that will work with Yahoo, Gmail and Lotus Notes.
