The Latest Macbook Pro

I didn't know that the new Macbook Pro is coming when I bought my Macbook Pro 3 weeks prior to the release. Not much difference in the look department, but it has a higher specifications. I would have waited and bought the 13-inches instead if I knew that the new Macbook Pro is coming. Well I guess I was too busy to keep up with the latest gizmos.

Jennifer Chung

First heard about her on YouTube, thought her voice was fresh and she did the cover of "Take a Bow" by Rihanna and "New Soul" by Yael Naim beautifully. My favourite song of her new album is "Common, Simple, Beautiful", the title says it all.

Prada Spring/Summer 2009
"MILAN, Italy -- Miuccia Prada is often a step ahead of the pack, so it was no wonder that her latest collection had little to do with what has been going on the Milan runway: easy dressing in light and airy styles. Her collection shown Tuesday was indeed light, she's into flesh-baring these days but certainly not easy to wear or walk in. Several models tottered and fell on the fish-decorated runway, as they slipped out of their ultrahigh-heeled platform sandals strapped at the ankle. Many finished their catwalk shoes in hand. The latest Prada collection is divided into categories from bra tops to dresses in python and fish prints, to variations of the old-fashioned night gown, to gilded evening wear. To underline the potpourri feel, all the models walked up and down the runway at the same time, creating the effect of a fashion kaleidoscope. Prada topped a long list of shows on the second day of the Milan fashion week that runs through Friday, including Jil Sander, Bottega Veneta, and Moschino." The Washington Post.

Armani Night Effect

Armani Night Effect is the second mobile phone from Samsung and Armani collaboration. I'm not sure if this second version of Samsung Armani is a respond to LG Prada II that will be released before Christmas but I don't think Armani Night Effect will rival the LG Prada II. It is not a touchscreen phone for one, and the LG Prada II is a 3G phone with Wi-Fi and 5MP camera. The LG Prada II has a slider keyboard that I think will be big in 2009, a touchscreen phone is nice but an added slider keyboard is much better, it's like having a bigger screen, well it makes the screen bigger actually because it does not use space on the screen.

Surf's Up

Our picture as free surfers, didn't go for lessons after 4 basic lessons that we had before during our previous trips because we were quite confident that we can do it and we were right, we need more practices than lessons. And going on our own is so much fun, we don't feel like someone is watching us all the time and we got more space to surf.

This is not for everyone's taste but I like it. I thought it was beautiful, a little bit weird at the end but one would expect that from Prada. Fashion is an art, only those who understand will appreciate.

The Funnest iPod Ever

Not much improvement for the iPod Touch except for the volume rocker and the speaker which I thought is great. A GPS in the new iPod Touch would be a plus so that it can be used as satellite navigator as well. I was hoping in the future iPod Touch would be transformed into a personal digital assistant (PDA) with it's ability to multi-task and with hard-drive memory, and probably they would rename it iNewton or something to revive Apple's previous PDA, Apple Newton.
