American Idol

Carrie is now the new American Idol, she won the title yesterday. Bravo Carrie!

1) Dancer in the Dark (I cried throughout the movie, very touching!)
2) American Beauty (It'll make you think and wonder, excellent ending)
3) Whale Rider (Beautifully done and flawless!)

Eurovision Song Contest 2005

And the title goes to...Helena Paparizou from Greece. Poor Ireland, didn't even get into the final, the thing is the only neighbour that Ireland has is the United Kingdom, although the Brits gave Ireland 12 points (full score) in the semi-final but it's not enough for Ireland to secure a place in the final. Anyway, my favourite contestants are Glennis Grace from the Netherland, Shiri Maimon from Israel and Jacob Sveistrup from Denmark. The latter 2 goes to the final whilst Glennis didn't, one place behind Donna & Joe from Ireland. I was gutted that Glennis didn't get through to the final because I would love to see her winning the Eurovision Song Contest this year, she's just superb.

Smell of Summer

There a few summer fragrances came out on the market this year and my favourites are Cologne Tonique Stimulating Summer Fragrance by Jean Paul Gaultier, Romance Silver by Ralph Laurent and Boss in Motion Blue Label by Hugo Boss. I bought the first two listed above since I figured I need new perfume for this Spring/Summer 2005.

Most designer labels will carry a single theme for their runways and this is how I describe some of them:

Prada = Nerdy
Dolce & Gabbana = Sporty
Gucci = Sexy

Louis Vuitton = Wealthy
Dior = Rocker

It has to be Harry Kinkead. The reason is simple, he has been in Prada ads for 7 seasons running and that's a wow!
